Carol had her first real taste of the playground, and the "rocking horse". We didn't know at the time that this would end up being her school playground.
She wasn't quite walking yet, although I'm still convinced she COULD have done so, if she had so chosen.
Oh, and she was still quite the cue ball. Although there was more in the back, most pictures showed a still rather bald baby.
|...not quite sure of the rocking horse...|
Flash forward almost exactly one year later, and you'll see that she's come a long way. (Baby.) Not only has she mastered the rocking horse, but she's a slide aficionado (and has learned the steadfast rule of "up the stairs, down the slide"), climbing up the stairs (or any available surfaces), and enjoys a good swing. But mainly, Carol just enjoys running. Constantly. Everywhere.
We're gearing up for birthday number two, as hard as it is for me to believe it. My little Carol will soon be entering the terrible twos. She's shown some signs of the TT's already, but I'm hoping it won't be too bumpy of a ride. Only time will tell.
Until then, we're just going to continue to enjoy the goodness that is the red-headed Tornado.
